![]() Ok, I went through most of the steps you said. Quote my previous reply and post your answers inline so everything is clear and nothing missed. Do *everything* I suggested and report the results for every test if you are still stuck. Still no joy it's unlikely a Pro Tools problem and something to take up with Mackie support.Īnd that is behaving exactly as if you have full hardware monitoring enabled. See under "help us help you" up the top of each DUC web page. If at any time it looks like a Pro Tools is suspect, trash prefs. If all that works, unplug all other USB devices you can, unplug everything you can from the Mac and reboot then plug the interface back in. That at least confirms the analog output stages are working. connect a microphone, turn up the hardware monitoring mix and see if you can hear the mic input through the hardware mixer. Since the Mackie has a hardware mixer built in. If the other app plays OK the problem is in Pro Tools if not it's likely a problem with the interface, cabling, etc. but when using Pro Tools it's best not to do this. Multiple different apps should be able to work using the interface at once. When the interface is not working in Pro Tools can you connect to it from say Apple Music or any other app (set it as the sound output device in Audio/MIDI setup). That's the only track and meter to focus on. Make sure you are looking at the master fader track for the output and that you see its meter moving (add a master fader track if you have not already so you can see it's output meter). Turn that back and you should hear the DAW output. ![]() Have you turned the monitoring knob all the way to 100% hardware monitoring? Assuming it will go that far. Are the expected lights/LEDs illuminated on the interface?
